So I put the radiator in and this thing has a 1/2 cant to it, and believe it or not it's suppose to. I posted about it on moparts and the really only answer as to why was because the engine is off to one side this places the fan inline with the radiator. Well, don't know, but here it is in photo. I put a rag behind it so you can see the cant.

Tom, Looks like it might have the wrong brackets! There should be a slight gap at the top not a 1/2"!Was it recored?

Here is the funny deal, I go to get another bracket off of one of the other radiators I have around here and they are ALL like that. A total of 4 radiators. So I call up a friend with a real max wedge radiator and his also has the same cant to it. It is suppose to be that way. A couple of people commented on moparts about it and it seems they noticed this before, but I never did. The brackets from side to side are different, actually different. And the one explanation was so the fan lines more up with the radiator as the engine is moved to the pass side, in the front, but not at the trans. Well, I am going to leave it like that. It was re-cord, but it has the same brackets on it. AND, its not the way they are soldered on there either. Funny stuff, I bet there are a bunch of mopars out there like that and nobody ever really noticed. Look at the two brackets, one in this pic, and one in a previous and you can see the difference.

The engines were off set because of clearance issues with the steering box! Why the rad. is canted back I have no idea!

I bought lunch for the tremendous effort put forth by Steve Kuenster in getting me a cam and lifters for my car. He really went out of the way. I happen to meet with Russ Berens and Dan Kuenster and pick that stuff up and that's where the lunch came in. Chris or Mopar Steve or Fugley if you would have been there I would have done that too. But, I think the cold kept you guys away. Well, that's the story. Hey, speaking of stories, nobody tells 'em better than Rumblefish. So at Cordova, I am running Jay and we are standing in the staging lanes waiting. He says to me" Hey Tom, I changed the rear suspension on the car. It should pull a pretty good wheelie. Why don't you wait around and watch it!". Stay warm gang. See a bunch of you at Indy in a few weeks? This is the car I am working on now, just after I towed it from Victorville. This is the back door to our shop in San Diego. Tom

63 tail lights. I got this figured out now. The center of that assembly is not where the round dot is, it is slightly off set to centerline of car, hence the left and right light holder. They made the bolt pattern different so the wrong one can't be installed. SO, I bought a nice used Left from, I think Herb's at Indy. But it isn't a left, its a right, with a left lense holder, which didn't fit to good. But I didn't notice. I am going to redrill and put a right on the left. If its noticeable I will fix that later. The guy I bought it from had the thing apart and cleaned it all, I really think he knew.
