One thing I just don't understand why there is a left and and right tail light. Lay them side by side and you can't tell the difference, but the bolt holes and studs are different left to right! So I have a number of tail lights, two of them in terrific shape, both rights. I have about 5 left sides, but they are all bad. What the heck! a couple more

Looking good...can you drill holes in the tail panel and use two rights? If not, get ahold of Clay, he can get you some

Well, there must be some contour differences as there is different part numbers on the outside bevel, and also on the part that bolts to that. The car is painted and buffed other wise I might try that. It will be a while before the car can be driven so I am sure I can find one somewhere. Tom

It's looking good indeed. Will you be racing it? If so, what class are you aiming for?

Well, I will mostly drive it on the street. I put a freshened 11.90 motor in it(that used to be in my 63 Sport Fury) so it could run the 12 0 class. But I have my red 63 Sport Fury and I will continue to run that. Something to have fun with, and now its being fun putting it together. I had to paint it twice as the first paint didn't harden, so its kinda been the paint job from heck, but I think I got it now.

Thanks for the offer Dick, hope you are nice and warm. He is in Arizona, everybody, soaking up that sunshine along with Pam. I'm jealous! Steve, that is my 32 Desoto in the little photo. Don't tell me you have a 32 coup? ? A Desoto? Well, mine was/is for sale for 15K. Had it sold and then it fell apart. I have just about finished the wiring on the car, got the carbs and linkage and kickdown all adjusted and fuel lines run. Tinker with it every day. Here is another shot from before, I'll update some photos soon. This other shot is the slushies with booze at the drag strip in Australia! Thought that was funny. .
