Saturday night after the Race was over, Randy Spurgeon suffered a huge Carb backfire and intake explosion while trying to load his car. There was a huge fire as the exploding intake yanked the fuel lines off of the regulator and sent fuel everywhere. Luckily several Racers were nearby and quickly jumped in with fire extinguishers and put the fire out. Randy and Cindy would like to thank Jim Hagenhoff and the others that so quickly responded and put the fire out. They would also like to thank the many fellow Victory Family that came by and helped with clean up and loading the car. They could have easily lost their pride and joy were it not for the selfless actions of these people. That is what is so cool about our Group, whenever someone is in need, everyone is there to help! WE ARE VICTORY NSS. While the engine bay and fenders suffered damage and it will take a lot of work, Randy hopes to have the car fixed for Indy. We are here for you Randy if you need anything, just ask. See you at Indy! Chris
