3 “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Rev 21 NIV
It’s been 15 years ago today that we said our earthly goodbyes to our son Kyle. For sixteen years God used him to change many lives, including mine. Though many tears have been shed, we rejoice in the fact that he (and all believers that have left this world) rest in the peace and comfort of our Lord. Praise on!
We are saddened by the loss of loved ones in our NSS family. For those still on this earth, we have the promise of dwelling with God himself and the “no more” of the old order…for He will make all things new.
Rejoice for salvation is found only in Jesus Christ.
Prayers for safe travel and good competition...it's been a long off season! Looking forward to seeing new and old friends.
See you down the quarter mile, Chaplain KSW

The gate is always open in our camp to you sir. As always looking forward to engaging in the friendly art of conversation with you and all members of the Victory Family. Been a long six months or seven if you want to count the better part of October. Will be good to get back in the car and as our Champ Tom Hoffman would say " light it off "
Safe travels to everyone descending on St. Louis next weekend.

I guess I didn't realize I had used that term referring to the race car. That is a term we would use when turning on a Navy gun (which is a little more involved than turning on a single switch).
"Light it off" has a totally different meaning than the phrase "light it up" we used in the army. Funny the things we say, and how their meaning can change.
Do you see the light? There is a good one as well. See you all soon.
