Depends.... if they are from Northern Ill. They are automatically illegal.....otherwise, perfectly legal....

I did order chrome muffler bearings !! Hope they are legal? I think cast aluminum valve covers would be better !! The old chrome ones have old style 60' breather vents on the top inner side and they always leak oil all over. I am trying to think of an easy way to seal them that does not look terrible? Welding up the holes is easy, but by the time I rechrome them it is cheaper to buy new ones? Any ideas?
