I am posting for our fearless leader as it seems he has thrown a rod in his computer. FOR ST LOUIS- if you do not have an engine diaper yet, due to backups at suppliers, for StLouis ( first race) here is the deal: IF you can provide proof that you have one on order , i.e. email, receipt, etc you will be granted a one race waiver. Chris wanted to stipulate this should not be used as a procrastination event, i.e. ordering no the day before the event. As I am sure al are aware, I have the attention span of a flea and am not nearly as polished a speaker, so take this with the best intention.....

Attachment DeletedGetting my car out and ready to go a couple of weeks ago. Well, I hope folks are ready and have got theirs by now. I never did understand folks that waited until this time of year to freshen or overhaul the engine, or to really to do any major work. But, you hear about it all the time, and the frustration of parts or engines not ready due to everybody else in the same position. See you soon gang, Meet me in St. Louie!

Well apparently I just bent a push-rod, no rods out of the block [good thing, I did not have my diaper on my computer yet]....... The Geek squad at Best Buy quickly had me in Race Form again. I bought a new lap top just in case, the Tech Guy asked me how old my computer is and I said just a couple years old...... LOL! Thanks Damon for filling in, I think I will let you do that more often. As Fugly so eloquently stated, apparently there are many that have waited to order their Engine Diaper and all suppliers are well behind now. That should tell everyone that we are not the only people running them this year! I was hoping that everyone would take advantage of the years notice that was given but we all know how Racers are. As stated above, we will give a one Race Waiver at St. Louis as long as you show proof that you have one on order. With that being said, you need to order your Diaper now, because the Suppliers are only going to get busier! Please do not put it off any longer, you will need them after St. Louis! Bring a copy of an email or receipt from a manufacturer for proof that you have one on order to St. Louis to receive your waiver. Remember, Dennis at DRE supported us last year, is continuing to support us this year, and makes the best Diaper on the market. Also, make sure your car is up to date on all other Safety Equipment and is prepared to Race safely. This is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, not mine or the tracks. If you have any questions, give me a call. The Nostalgia Rendezvous will be here before you know it, we look forward to an exciting and SAFE start to the 2016 Victory Season. Carry on, Chris 573-291-0999

Gang, we all need to think about getting a diaper. Tracks really appreciate that fact, and if I could say ALL of our racers have diapers it would be a great negotiating point.

Think about getting one ? It was a rule to race in Victory or did that change ? Was there a vote on that ? If its still a rule, no diaper/no race !

Think about getting one ? It was a rule to race in Victory or did that change ? Was there a vote on that ? If its still a rule, no diaper/no race ! The rule is 11 seconds or faster you have to have one to race. I would like all speeds to have one as it does a great job of promoting our group.

Promoting maybe, its for your safety and the person in next lane. The cleanup the same for 12-13 second cars, also 11-9 second cars chasing down 12-13 second oil down/spin is a consideration, put it to a vote. Thats if we still want voting !
