We finished putting the F/C back together tonight and we are ready to rock. We hope our Gremlin is banished and I can keep the Blower attached to the Motor this time......... If you are in the Nashville area this Friday and Saturday, come by and say Hi! Blowfish

Well, there is good news and bad news. First the bad, we got rained out again! Now the good, we have our Fuel issues fixed and Roland has the car thumping. We left Nashville with Low ET and Top MPH, and for the second race in a row, The Flying Butcher grabbed the Good Vibrations Reaction Award. This time I only had a .03 Light, I'll try harder next time..... The car is in one piece and it is a Monster, we are happy. Blowfish out

Yes, keeping the shiny thing attached to the big square thing was a very good thing! I was waiting for the Big Bang to happen on our first run and luckily it never happened. We had it set very soft, I short shifted and lifted a little early. It ran a 5.00 at 140 on the very narrow 1/8 mile track. We got it back and serviced with everything looking perfect. Roland tuned it up and it really sounded froggy for our next run. I did a 300' burn out with ease as the motor was thumping! As we staged, it started to rain. They gave us the tree and we launched [attempted to launch]. Nothing will make you pucker more than a blown Hemi instantly going to 7500 RPM and the car not moving. I rolled it out a little and hit it again with the back end trying to pass the front. I straightened it out, shifted and lightly eased into the throttle and promptly got a great view of both walls in a very short amount of time. I felt that now was a good time to shut it off......... My opponent suffered the same fate and we both coasted across the line at a blistering 60 MPH. After removing my underwear from my crack, we towed back to the pits just in time to hear that the Race is called. It has been one of those years. We did make it home with a F/C in one piece which is always a good thing. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. Blowfish

I showed Roland the Tell-Tale on Tach at 7500 RPM and said I caught it. He said that I should have caught it sooner....... I then showed him the .03 Reaction and I asked him what he thought it would have been if it hadn't spun the tires and he said it would have been "Fairly Good"......... You know, I think he loves me. LOL. I have lasted longer than most Drivers in his history. He even told John, "At least the Fat F@#$er didn't put it in the wall". Living the Dream I am! Blowfish

Rumblefish, he has many names for me but FF is his favorite. The other cars had trouble making it down the track, so my 5.0 at 140 lead the pack. We look forward to turning the wick up at Sykeston next weekend! Blowfish
