I wish more could experience life at the race track (especially at an NSS race). The car show, the fellowship, and the competition. Setup camp and enjoy the weekend. Dad and I would say "leave your troubles at the gate, no need to bring them in and they may not be there when we leave". I miss my dad.
Over the years I have been amazed whom God predestined us to "camp" next too, always great fellowship and the start of many great friendships.
Who is my neighbor? This weeks thought comes from Luke 11:5-6 "Then Jesus said to them, “Suppose you have a friend, and you go to him at midnight and say, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread; 6a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have no food to offer him."
I wish the world could get a dose of racers hospitality, always offering to share a meal or a car part, you all are a great examples of "the good neighbor".
The scripture continues with the many excuses why the neighbor cannot or will not help, but in the end, the persistence of the one in need wins out.
Moral of the story...Chevy, Dodge, or Ford we all find ourselves in time of need. "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
And pray, Lord knows we need it and who we'll be camping next too.
Be safe...Be blessed KSW
