Thank you for the nice comments on the garage. The Pontiacs are our street car passion, specifically, 1963 Tempests and Lemans. We own a hot rod coupe, a convertible, and wagon. The hot rod has a dodge rear end, turbo 400, and Pontiac 400 engine. The other two are stock, v8 transaxle cars. Always raced big block Chevys (except for a 1972 Dodge Demon GSS from MR. Norms that kept blowing up). That is the reason for the Chevelle.
I went with an Edelbrock air gap intake, pn 7520. It matches the rpm range of the cam.

Charlie, The Chevelee is about ready. Fresh set of spark plugs, set the timilng, and add 5 gallons of Sunoco 110 and it will be test and tune time. We are going to Tristate in Earlville for their opening test and tune on April 26. Here are a before and after pictures of the intake/carb.
