Congrats to Russ on a great win at Eddyville's Night of Fire. These Wisconsin guys are cleaning house this year! Way to go Russ. A special thank you to the management and crew at Eddyville as well as the whole Victory NSS Family for making a great race out of a very trying conditions. Well done by all! I will have more later. Way to go Russ!
Also way to go Don Bremmer for runner up and the winner of my $20 for taking out Wally!
Great fun at Eddyville, I had a blast and what a great time watching others go down the track on the way to victory or spectator status. Wow, its hard to watch sometimes when you are pulling for both cars at the line.
This victory series is just the best fun I can imagine.
A good example of this is when Buck's car came back, engine missing a beat, passenger side. He was going to pull a valve cover when it cooled down. Well, he went into the trailer to get something, and the valve cover came off before he came back out. About 5 mechanics were working on his car, 5 friends. Another 5 were willing to help, but not enough room.
Well, it turned out to be an adjuster had backed out, and he had a spare rocker, and went to the semi's on Sunday. Congrats to Buck, that is a pretty good weekend!

Tom, this story can be told at virtually every Victory NSS Race! What a group of racers, always ready to help a competitor. One of the first over to help Buck was the race winner Russ Berens. This whole group is a class act and I am proud to be associated with it. The smile on Buck's face was one of the highlights of the weekend for me. Chris.

Congrats to Russ. Unfortunately, Don, you don't get my $20. Per the deal I set up, I said if Walley takes me out B4 someone else takes him out, Wally gets the $20 (which I already paid him as that happened...altho I again took myself out w/ red lite. Just so anyone that was watching my run against Wally & thinks I was "screwing" w/ him, I had taped up my line-loc switch mounting B4 that run & the tape kept the line loc on after I let off the switch. I didn't know what was happening & luckily it released so I could stage. I'm sure that threw me off causing my red lite...yea!, that's my story & I'm sticking to it. Great job to all @ Eddyville to get the program going after another deluge. Can't wait for the Series.
