Good day in our Lord!
As we honor the memory of the ones that fought and payed the ultimate price for freedom, I’m feeling a little guilty. Are we living in a way worthy of such a sacrifice? Yes, our rights are being questioned with the rules put in place, I think they are overreaching, but am I responding as person worth dying for?
Romans 5:6-8 NIV
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
These men left all: Family, Friends, jobs, and homes…to fight for the rights of Liberty. May we be found living in such a way that liberty lives on. I know I fail miserably, sometimes I just want to give up and quit… then I remember that men died for you and me to have the opportunity to live and fight for this same freedom. Let Freedom Ring!
God found us helpless and it brought him great joy to send his Son, though we be lost in sin, Christ died for us. That we might receive the gift of eternal life.
May we be found striving to live in freedom, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Worthy of the gift…from both men and from God! I can almost hear the sound of engines revving and flags a flying😊
Love and miss you all. Lord willing we’ll see you all soon…down the quarter mile

Good afternoon Scottie and thank you for your message. I spoke with my nephew just yesterday about all those who answered the call during WWII and gave the ultimate sacrifice so that a way of life could be sustained. Life , Liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Those were different times back then I told him. Things have changed a lot since then but here we are facing life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness being challenged yet once again. For different reasons and by a different adversary. Jay asked us not to get into political views and all that so lets honor his request and not get into that stuff. Let us pray that with Gods help and our own common sense we can persevere and come out the other side of this darn thing and get back to doing what we want, the way we want it. Let the sunshine brightly and warmly on the faces of all out there during this holiday weekend and may God Bless us all. Bill
