Russ Berens posted this on the NSS Racing Site this afternoon: Steve, I'm sad to say I won't be making the trip , I had everything ready , and found out a day ago that my brother of 63yrs old , who wasn't feeling good the last couple of weeks has pancreatic cancer it's pretty bad there not giving him much time, so I know I wouldn't be much good down there. so good luck to everyone and have fun. Russ Russ, please know that your Victory Family is thinking of you and if you need anything, we are here for you. Be with your brother and we look forward to seeing you at the track in the future. Chris.

Russ,
I am so sorry to hear about your brother. 63 is way too young to be taken so quickly. Take comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering.

Russ, Like I said earlier, take care of the important stuff. Sounds like your brother touched the lives of a lot of people. Racing will still be here.
Really missed seeing you at St. Louis, at the Classic.
