My intention, Dick, and everybody out there is not to tell you to not race this event, but to give you a heads up to have your safety stuff in order. They picked us apart last year, and the "Real" reason for that has been discussed many times face to face. I highly recommend racing there. Great track for racing on. Scoreboards use green numbers, easier to read. Big pit area, but full at this event. Big staging lanes. The staging guy does a great job running us through. The car show part is 3 or 4 times bigger than St. Louis Nostalgia Rendezvous. Pin Up girls. Vendors with stuff to buy. For us, next closest race to St. Louis. Close to Interstates. Dick runs this part, as Chris is busy with the Funny Car, but Chris helps just a little. Would be great if we could get a points race for us here. It doesn't cost anything to race it, crew gets in free, but no payout either. 3 time runs is what you get, BUT, you get to choose who you want to run, like Jerry. If you don't have anything better to do, like Jerry, let Dick know you are going. Only a little over a month left. Just get your car NHRA rule book ready, and have fun !!

How about some words from the Director. Route 66 is one of the Premiere Tracks in the Country. The Racing Surface and Facility is as good as any. This is a very cool Event with a lot going on and to see. The Race and the Crowd continues to grow every year as well. Long story short, this is a Golden Opportunity for our Racers and Series. If you enjoy Racing your Car in front of a large and appreciative Crowd and be part of a Fun and Exciting Event, the Route 66 Classic is for you. If you are concerned about the "Tech" there, perhaps you need to take a closer look at your Car. I look forward to seeing everyone there! Chris
