Steve, NMCA does not allow my 460 motor and if I can't race I will stay home? I will see first if our rules apply as well before I make a decision?

That's a bummer! I'm sure there are some other rules that will be a disadvantage to the Victory cars Not up on the NMCA rules though maybe Chris can check into that!

Thanks to Chris, Doug and NMCA for putting on this event. There are some rules/cars/combo,s not the same in NMCA and Victory. Flyer says NMCA rules, fine. What if one the top 5 from Victory 2015 does not meet NMCA rules ? These 5 guys have an automatic in to the All Star Race, would they be not allowed to race if they did not meet the NMCA event rules ? I know off one Victory car not allowed to try for the last three Victory positions because he does not meet the NMCA event rules. How can we have an Allstar NMCA/Victory Champ if some are not allowed? NMCA and Victory should use the same rules. Lets get that done for the future. For now, one time events like this, waivers should be available to cover the differences for now. That seems fair.

I agree with Fordever, something seems askew. I do not advocate Victory using NMCA rules, but it seems in an event like this, Victory or NMCA rules should apply, depending on what group you are running with.

This race is a great opportunity for both groups to show what they are made of and to grow the NSS Hobby as a whole. We need to remember that this is an NMCA Race and Victory is a Guest. This is a Points Race for NMCA but not for Victory. It would not be fair to the NMCA Points Racers to not adhere to their rules completely. Many of the NMCA Cars would not be Legal in a Victory Points Race while very, very few Victory Cars are not Legal in NMCA. At this time, this is our best opportunity to get together. I have talked to Dick Monaco and he understands completely. We are grateful to NMCA giving us this opportunity and look forward to it. Both groups will benefit greatly from it. Victory Members vote on their rules every year. We do not tell anyone how to run their Series or Races and we ask the same towards us. Many of our group have raced at the Dave Duell Classic and this will be no different. This Race will be huge and a great time. It will do wonders to help promote and grow the NSS Family. The many positives of this Race far outweigh the few negatives. We appreciate NMCA welcoming Victory NSS into their "House". This Race will go down in history as a classic and will be the start of something big. As always, BE THERE, and remember: We Are Victory NSS. Chris

One person or ten, its still a problem. Dick,s car follows the Victory rules, no need to appologize. I offered a solution. This is not about how great NMCA or Victory or how great the event can be or will be. This could happen again, time to standardize the rules or grant waivers in this situation. As long as you exclude some from entering , that seems like a bad solution.

I agree, we are guests and should follow their rules if we are competing against each other. However, if it is an exhibition race only and we are only competing against other Victory cars, then I think all Victory members should be allowed to race. I guess I am not clear on the program. If it is a points race for them, will they be competing against us? ? Sounds like they will only be competing with their members. I totally understand in the showdown event for sure as the NMCA rules should apply-period !! Either way however, I am not upset at all, we have a great race schedule on our own for Victory this season thanks to Chris !!

If it's a points race for the NMCA cars? I think the Victory cars will actually be a spoiler by eliminating a few of their points guys! seeing as we aren't racing for points for our series! I may be confused as how that will play out in the end! Although! I think Dick should be able to race in it. Just my opinion! I know putting together a new event there will be some problems to iron out And I'm sure it'll be worked out!
