Well folks, the news that we have been dreading finally became official today. IRG put out a Press Release this afternoon that the World Series is moving to Memphis this year. We do not have to understand it, agree with it or support it, but we do have to accept it. We had a great run at the Series with some awesome memories. We will move on and do what we need to. We WILL BE racing at Cordova that weekend and WE WILL put on a great show. As always, we will enjoy the competition, the fellowship and the sharing of our Hobby with our many Fans. Just remember, when ever a door closes, another one opens. We need to take in some of the wise words that our Chaplain has given us and continue to carry the Victory NSS Banner with our heads held high. I look forward to seeing everyone at Indy with our new Crew Shirts on! We Are Victory NSS. Chris

I consider my part time job - video poker. I know all the percentages of what hands I should get etc. I'm also a news junky. I spend lots of time paying attention to what's going on w/ elections, the state of our country, the world, etc.
I'm finding my "most-used" word these days is UNBELIEVABLE.
My ole man ran the 59 Biscayne 348 that I used to have @ the series 1959 thru 1964.. I've got a 62 or 63 series class winner trophy hanging in my garage(he had several others). This just about makes me sick to my stomach.

I am glad I was fortunate enough to win the World Series a couple of years ago. my only regret is not taking the car up on the track afterword, my battery was low and I never thought of it, we were back at the trailer having beers with Wally and Jason and others and Jason said hey weren't you suppose to go up on the track , oh crap , too late now. having cheers with the Victory clan is more important anyway.

There is a lot of history there. Dennis, unbelievable is a word we use more than we should these days. I really like the way Brett Kepner says that, UNBEEEELIVEEEEABLLEE! It certainly is cool the history that you have there.
We will race on, and have fun doing it. We are all so lucky we can do this. I bet there is a pretty good crowd there for us!

Don't know what they are thinking! Moving a very profitable program into a new area, IMHO it won't be that way any more! I am glad I was able to be apart of the World Series of Drag Racing history! Oh well Race On!
