Ha Ha Ha Russ! Actually it really is a Stetson. I would guess the hat is out of the late '40s and When I bought it, it looked new and in a hat box. I didn't have room on the plane (I was in Norfolk VA) to take the box, so I left it. Then I find out the box has a bunch of value. Anyway, I bought it for $40 and was pretty surprised to find that Stetson was still in business at that time, and they still are actually!
