Race number five, back to Gateway and time to crown another winner.
The five pointed star is referred to as a “stardom”, often displayed as an achievement like the walk of fame in Hollywood.
Chrysler used the “Pentastar” as their badge of recognition. “The Pentastar was created by Robert Stanley, at the Lippincott & Marguiles design firm. He wanted, according to his blog entry, “something simple, a classic, dynamic but stable shape for a mark that would lend itself to a highly designed, styled product.” Per ALPAR.com via the internet.
It first showed up in ads with the 1963 models, and started showing up on the 1963 cars behind the right front wheel, making its way to key blanks with the 1964 models.
The number five is also special in the sight of God, for we see it everyday as He designed each hand and foot with five.
The Fifth book of the Bible is Deuteronomy and the fifth chapter contains a set of five, the Ten Commandments.
The Fifth commandment is “16“Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the Lord your God is giving you.”
Seems like the world has lost the “honor and father and mother” part of this command.
I would like to pay honor to one of our own, Keith Landwehr. Although our time was short with him on earth, We will treasure what we have had, will remember him for a long time to come and share his hope for eternity in heaven.
A prayer for safe travel, security and salvation this weekend, be blessed and share that blessing!
