Benjamin Franklin said "'In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes".
This past week I had to say goodbye to two friends way to young, way to soon... This past week I had to pay my first installment of Property Taxes, way to much...
I normally pay both tax installments at the same time (so I don't forget), but this year I decided to test Benjamin's statement. When I visited the County Tax Office, I told the young lady I decided to "play the odds" and if she won, I'd be back in a month with the next payment. She said with a smile "see you next month"!
Jesus paid the tax asked of him and Simon (Peter), then paid the price for our sins with his life.
Moral of the story... our eternal taxes are paid in heaven. 2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
Be safe...be bless! KSW

Facts of life, well stated.
The essence of life: Something to do, something to look forward to, something to love. I heard that a couple of years ago, and I love it. What do you think?

I agree (sounds like NSS racing). So many go through life and never find their purpose or passion. I believe that learning what love is, how to love and who created it is the meaning of life. Love comes at a great price. Thanks for the share...
