Chris asked me to get some chat going about race locations, I wouldn't mind going back to Cedar Falls ( to see how the new management is doing) it's a little closer for us. I can tolerate 1/8 mile but don't really care for it, a 11hr haul like to Sikeston gets to be a bit much if it's a sunday race cause it eats well into monday coming home, but we're a minority up here in the north. So lets hear from you guys what ya think??

Cedarfalls would be good. Its a long ways, but I do like St. Louis. Is there any nice tracks south or west of St. Louis? Lots of the racers are from that area. Keep in mind since I can make the races, I would be there if you held an event in Houston!
Joilet?

I don't care for Cedar Falls It's too dusty! The track itself isn't or wasn't bad though. It hooked good and I think I ran my fastest time there! If it wound up being in the Victory Series I'd go.

I do like Cedar Falls (Nite of Fire Event). Cordova is a no brainer, great event. Byron, if you guys like the Wheelstand or maybe another event? I do like events though, not just another bracket race program like Earlville. To boring!! Trying to get into a Joliet event might be cool? Sikeston at the spring nostalgia Pro Stock event might be neat. I like the spring event at St. Louis and by the way they are trying to make it bigger like Bowling Green. Eddyville is a nice track, but 4th of July I think we should all be with family at the fireworks. Maybe a nostalgia event at Paducah ? What else in Mo. A track in Wisconsin? How about I57 dragway in Illinois? How about trying to get into a Goodguys Event? Bowling Green in the fall? Check out their new schedule on DRO today.

Since the score is 6 to 0. Maybe the winners should select the 6 locations for next year???

That sounds like something that someone would say to get the "Golden Ladle" Trophy a new home in Cheese Land next year........ Blowfish.

I believe that is the first post I have seen Wally make, and Mobile too.. Cordova , yes please, twice like we used too is good. Cedar Falls Night of Fire , Piggy backing on St.Louis, Byron, all good. Indianapolis ? Depends on the distance for the Central Mo. folks. Martin Mich. is a really nice track too, but probably too far for a lot of members. Kinda tough and limited for centrally located tracks. Union Grove , also tough for a lot, and then tangling with the Mid-West Group. Earlville is O.K., not a big turn out. I'll race what I can, and not get upset with what I can't. Just glad we have a place to race, because if all we had was NMCA, I would probably have to quit, and local bracket racing? No Thanks. Chris, Thanks for your work. ... P.S., do I have to nominate Wally now too ?

Could you have a non points Victory race at some track that is too far for some? I would go to that as well. There is some great suggestions there so far.

Since it sounds like I'll be doing Victory again next year, I'll throw in my 2C. My travel limit is going to likely be about 4 1/2 hour tow from Quad Cities (St Louis). So some of these tracks are farther than that. I'd still like to see us be able to eliminate 1 race from points battle, particularly if the race location "diameter" expands considerably. I will likely run every race within that boundary, depending on family considerations, etc.

Tom Hoffman had a good idea about a non-points event. I would go as well. By the way where is Texas? If we go there I will have to see my sister in Houston.
