Below are listed the rules to be individually voted upon, yes or no.
Ballots will be printed with these rules on each, and votes will be counted openly. Please consider the ramifications of each and every one of these items and how it will affect our racing.
These rules are written exactly the way they have been submitted to the board, no changes have been made with the exception of rule 4 which has been shortened to show the example of what was intended (all manufactures and their engines were listed in the original submittal).
Rule 1
In the 9.00 to 9.50 Indexes ONLY , the following is Permitted :
- Holley Carbs allowed in lieu of Edelbrock / Carter
- Tunnel Rams Allowed , must be commercially cast units ( No Fabricated Sheet Metal permitted ) . Tops May be modified but carbs must fit under the hood or scoop ( 5" tall max scoop per base NSS requirements ).
- Period Correct Mechanical Fuel Injection Permitted , Gas or Methanol permitted , Stacks may protrude thru the hood.
- Methanol permitted on F.I . only , not carbureted entries .
- '64 to '66 period correct Altered Wheelbase Cars Permitted
- Bare Panel Aluminum interiors allowed on AWB vehicles only
- Minimal " Breakout " on 9.00 index permitted , will not automatically disqualify entrant. Break-out rules will apply same as other indexes.
- All other NSS rules apply unless specifically mentioned above , ie: 10.5 max slicks , makes, models, yrs. etc.
Rule 2
Any cast aluminum 2 X 4 intake manifold that will fit under the stock hood regardless of intake runner size or direction, or plenum configuration, or carburetor placement. No sheet metal intakes.
Rule 3
All cars from 1959 to 1969 Allowed.
Rule 4
All big block engines allowed corresponding to manufacturer. Example: any Chevy in a Chevy, any Ford in and Ford, ect.
Rule 5
All competitors allowed to run any intake manifold and any carburetor combination. Intake/carb combination must fit under existing hood scoop rules. Intake must be cast. Carbs must have cast main body. No dominator carbs. No alcohol allowed unless exhibition. No sheet metal intakes.

No rule changes in 2022 and 2023 unless safety or legally determined to be required.
