Per written rules on this website all members get a vote. "Rules are voted on by Victory NSS Association Members yearly at the World Series Race at Cordova." A precedent has been set at the 2015 members vote for call in voting. Or has the membership voted on and changed this rule?

That was tried once and didn't work out. Since "incorporation" as Victory Nostalgia Super Stocks it has been decided to vote on rule changes in this manner.
Votes have been made by the driver, and one vote only per car. (no votes allowed for the owner of the car, just the driver votes)
Somethings on the web site need to be updated, this is one of them. Plus, we don't know year to year if the last race is at Cordova anyway.

Almost seems like 'membership' doesn't mean much anymore.

We voted as a membership on the board, since the "incorporation" what is the term of board members between votes? 1yr, 2yrs, 5yrs or is it an indefinite position?

Speaking of Rule change voting restrictions, can one of our Victory Directors clarify the restriction of one Qualifying pass to be able to vote. Does that pass have to be made in 2021, or do previous years apply. Kind of hard to make a qualifying pass when there are 0 Victory races at Gateway, for those of us that don't want to drive 300 - 400 miles ( one way ) for every Victory race.

I think it’s BS that a person has to be present to vote! People could race every race all year long & miss the final race & not get the opportunity to VOTE. The people that are driving 400 miles to every event make have problems on the way to the race so they don’t get to vote? I guess that not a problem for some people that could walk to the track & vote

George , A previous years qualifyng pass is acceptable as long as there has been no lapse in membership. Example, say a member joined 5 years ago, made a qualifying pass 5 years ago and their dues were paid every year during that 5 year period, They qualify to vote. Another example is a person who joined 5 years ago, has not paid this years ( and last years ) dues could not vote as they are no longer a current member ( membership lapsed ) . In order to vote, they would have to pay this years dues and have made a qualifying pass this year prior to the vote.
