We received a few inquiries regarding the Index's for Eddyville , so the "Board " discussed using accepted conversions from 1/4 mile to 1/8 . We found that the conversion factor of 1.56 is more accurate than the 1.6 .The 1.6 factor that NHRA uses appears to be more suited for cars set up for 1/8 mile only , rather than 1/4 mile set ups , so this year we will be using the following indexes at this race in lieu of the 1/4 second indexes. The first column is 1/4 mile and the second column is the 1/8 mile conversion we will be using. THESE 1/ 8 MILE CONVERSIONS ARE THE INDEXES FOR THIS RACE.
9.00 = 5.77 10.00 = 6.41 11.00 = 7.05 12.00 = 7.69 13.00 = 8.33 9.25 = 5.93 10.25 = 6.57 11.25 = 7.21 12.25 = 7.85 9.50 = 6.09 10.50 = 6.73 11.50 = 7.37 12.50 = 8.01 9.75 = 6.25 10.75 = 6.89 11.75 = 7.53 12.75 = 8.17
We thought it would be a good time to try this due to the non-points year.
Don't forget your make-up for the cameras !!! Get em' shined up , See you at Eddyville !!

Ok then. That makes it a little better for me, but my actual 1/8 time when running the 1/4 is like 6.66. So, we'll throw in some weight and figure it out.
Ok, got to go, got to shine the bumpers for the cameras. As in multiply cameras. Don't know if you have ever watched Bang Shift, but they have some great coverage!!!!
And, its not too late to get on the list!!!!!!!!!!!!
