Getting ready to buy a 50 gallon drum of race gas, either 110 or 112. What is everyone paying now that gas at the pump has fallen?

Racing gas isn't affected by regular gas prices, just paid $480 for VP Blue which is 112 octane.

Where are you getting this Dennis? Is there shipping? I can buy it from the pump for 8.50 per gallon here.

Checked locally today and the quote was $9.90 per gallon for Sunoco blue 112. I think I will hold out for a few weeks to see if the price comes down .

Looks like the cost of racing gas is dropping. Two weeks ago I checked with a supplier in Waterloo, Iowa, and he quoted me $9.90/ gallon in 55 gallon drum for 112 octane. Today a different supplier quoted me $4.61 per gallon in 50 gallon drum for 110 octane and $6.16 per gallon in 50 gallon drum for 114 octane. Will it go lower? Will we get to use it?

Cheese and crackers don't make me feel bad, were already spending more on a barrel that anyone else out there and now ya say the cost might drop lower, I need drink.
Had I known things were going to end up this way I wouldn't have spent a dime on anything during the off season. Right now there is no telling where this whole thing is going or when it might end. And even when it does end, things will never be same. Everyone be safe.

Well, it would be nice if the gas is still cheap when "towing" season comes around. I believe, comparatively speaking, gas is as cheap as it ever has been in my life time. I bought gas, one time, at 19 cents. But usually about 25 cents a gallon. But I was making a little over a dollar an hour.
