Does anyone use them , or are we not allowed? If yes, do they work? For mono-leafs only?

Dick, I have floaters on mine, if we are talking about the same thing. I have the multi leaf super stock springs, with ladder bars, and the floaters. That is how it was when I bought it, so can't compare it to anything else. It seems to work. I know many of the Mopar guys love their Cal Trac bars. I am sure they are legal, since we have a few cars with a four links and coil over shocks. Missed you and Jerry at Indy.

George, I missed Indy because of converter problems and the trans is out of the car! I think, but not sure that Jerry was out of town that weekend?

Some guys love the radials. I've read they can be finicky. I'm old school, regular bias slicks with tubes.

I think leaf sliders are a neat idea if the suspension is designed for them. I like radial slicks, but know that they can wad up if overheated. A light smokey burnout works for me if the track isn't too hot. 1.36 second 60 foot times on 9" tires seems OK. My car has ladder bars and single adjustable coil over shocks, 18 lbs. of air in the slicks.
I just read that the highest recorded mileage for a car was 2,970,000 miles. The car was a 1966 Volvo P1800-S owned by a retired science teacher in Long Island, NY. Think a 66 Vovlo would be OK for the Victory NSS series???

Caltrac’s just told me to lower the air pressure to 15 lbs and make sure the shackles are not too tight. Said no to sliders? Also check to see if I have 5” of front suspension travel! The Volvo would be great as long as it has a Ford motor in it 😀😀

Wow, Jerry you are amazing, not happy to beat up on us Mopars with your Chevy, but now you want to come after us with a Volvo. Wonder if they have a Super Stock version? Jerry, we needed you and Dick to lead us in battle at Indy. How was the Corvette Show? By the way, I had to run a guy on Sunday with a Pontiac that knows you, named Beemer.

Hey Dick. I thought sliders were those greasy burgers from White Castle. Anyway, how about packing the front coils with spacers and on the rear use air shocks and longer shackles. Then you would be PERIOD CORRECT!!!
