Now I am waiting for a friend to come over and put in the headliner before I can put the windshield back in again. I tried once to put a headliner in my son's 62 Ply, but that sail panel area is tough to do on these cars.

Attachment DeletedThe magnesium wheel on the front, the center cap is also cast of magnesium. Somebody tried to polish some of it years past so I has one bright spot on it. I wish they had left it alone, but I am fortunate enough to get these great wheels in the terrific shape they are in. Funny co-incidence in how I got these wheels. That's a story I'll tell you in person.

Attachment DeletedHa ha ha, I bet that would throw you off for a little bit Russ! I just love the looks of real mags. Out in California I had some guys help me move the wheels around the company shop and one guy remarked that these were the lightest wheels he'd ever touched. There really is a noticeable difference in weight between magnesium and aluminum.

Hey, Thanks Russ. I figured out long ago that if I am working on somebody else's car I wasn't getting my stuff done. I used to make Aluminum grills for '33 and '34 Plymouths for "car money". Although I had money to go to swap meets with, there was a period of like two years I got nothing done on my cars.
